Our next generation of software…

For our next generation of internet and mobile based software, we've got two main goals:

a) To create an unrivalled and equally robust EPoS system, we’re aiming to combine the best features of our two EPoS systems, CHIPs (which works with our administrative software, Cobra) and GPoS (which works with other providers like Croft, HandicapMaster and MyTeeTimes).

b) As a direct result of the recent user groups, a top priority is to redesign Cobra into a system that is - and looks - much more user-friendlier.

c) While generating new offerings such as the online club diary mentioned earlier and membership survey tools, and new features for the members' app such as online food ordering, match management.

The product specification stage is happening right now up to March 2019. Several of our most proactive customers and club managers will be having a direct input to help us ensure our future software is as club manager-led and user friendly as possible. Once signed off, our new software packages will be written over the following 18 months in the latest languages for desktop and mobile usage.

And we're doing all sorts of things now, with help from our new operations manager Melanie to ensure our support stays well ahead of the game - whether that's golf, rugby, cricket...

The product specification stage is between now and March 2019. Several of our most proactive customers and club managers will be having a direct input to help us ensure our future software is as club manager-led and user friendly as possible. Once it’s signed off, our new software packages will be written over the following 18 months in the latest languages for desktop and mobile usage.

The next generation system will also include new and improved features we’re working on right now, and a good example is the online club diary software we’re developing (see: New developments for 2019).
