Melanie Oliver is our new operations manager
As good as something may be, it can always be improved. Customer feedback has been consistently good about our support, but just like technology, we know only too well that things can never stand still. So Melanie Oliver has joined our team in Tonbridge, using her 15 years of experience in software support to identify and action more ways in which we can improve our customer service.
Originally based in Hong Kong, Singapore and latterly the Philippines, a global hub for software support to many of the world’s top brands, Melanie’s clear about the reason for her new role: “Having been at the sharp end in senior positions in both project and account management, I see myself as someone who’s become skilled at turning all sorts of challenges into workable solutions.”
“Technology’s creating all sorts of challenges, especially with the trend to mobile and the cloud. While Open Solutions is developing some exciting ideas and plans, it’ll be my job to make sure that whatever it is, everything we do puts our customers first.”
Melanie adds: “When we say ‘user friendly’, that means not just our next generation of software solutions but the whole organisation that’s behind it. Satisfying all of our customers through solutions that make them money and save them time is key, but for me the acid test lies in the strength of all those relationships. That’s why I’m here.”
